The Only Solution to Unemployment, the Failing Economy & Working for a Living

Unemployment and the failing economy is a result of many factors due to the monetary labor system and the effects this has on how the world is conducted.

Just taking one of these problems alone and looking into it, we can see that unemployment is going to rise more and more. A major problem is the clash between automated machines versus human labor. In China, a company called Foxconn, which is famous for manufacturing Apple’s iPhone and iPad line of products, is replacing the entire manufacturing labor force with 1 million automated machines. (read article...)

When the corporation's bottom line is profit, decisions in all areas are made not for the benefit of people and the environment, but primarily for the acquisition of wealth, property, and power. It is an easy choice for companies since there won’t be health care to pay, there won’t be 401k’s to contribute to, no overtime, no workers compensation, no unemployment to pay, no vacations to deal with and no sick days. Robots will work every single hour of the day, 24 hours a day, no complaints and for years on end. Robots are the means to which EVERY company profits! Eventually (which is climbing faster and faster) all companies will convert to technology as a means of profit.

Due to just this situation alone, we are going to see a increase in unemployment. As unemployment rises, people will turn to their governments but there will be no answers. Unfortunately, it may take an economic breakdown and people becoming disillusioned with their leaders before they will seek an alternative social direction and solution.

The solution is changing the source and means of what is needed to survive. Instead of money, we need to have access to all the resources without the use of money, credits, barter or any other system of debt or servitude.

Having access to all resources for free is done through a Resource Based Economy. This system is fully functional and feasible right now. This system has all the blueprint designs mapped out in every field of how a society in a Resourced Based Economy works, why it works, and addresses 25 years worth of questions about it.

It doesn't take the world to unite in order to make change happen. Science has discovered that all social changes happen due to 10% of the world's population united in a common purpose. That's 700 million. We already have 50 million people supporting this. If everyone did their part in spreading the word about the Venus Project offering a Resource-Based Economy; this would spread like a virus and unemployment would be history. It is up to you doing your part.
If you do nothing, nothing will change.

If we really wish to put an end to our ongoing international and social problems, we must declare Earth and all of its resources the common heritage of all of the world's people. An environment that produces scarcity, unemployment, hunger, and poverty is a threat to everyone.

A Resource Based Economy, shows how an abundance for all people is a much more relevant motivator than monetary incentive (money system), with the end result being a healthy & technologically advanced society. An abundance is made possible through the use of technology and the advancement of it.

Technology is already here to stay and it is only going to advance and that means more and more unemployment, we only desire to use that technology to free people from repetitive and boring jobs. Most of the jobs in existence today (somewhere around 90%) are only there because people need money to survive so they do these jobs and support companies that produce products that do not serve the environment or the people. Most jobs only exist because we use a monetary system and those job are quickly disappearing due to technology and other factors of the monetary labor system. It is easy to see that this old labor system must go.

In a Resource-Based Economy people would be free from boring and monotonous jobs which will enable them to encourage and solve the problem of the present and near future.

Monotonous and dangerous jobs will inevitably be done away with by the advance of technology. People in a resource-based economy will be given the opportunity to engage in all manner of research and development, the creative arts and crafts, travel and exploration, and participation in all of the other limitless horizons the future has to offer.

The ultimate realization of the potential of cybernated and computerized technology solely to improve people's lives could produce the most revolutionary system ever to evolve. It will eventually eliminate all superficial boundaries set up by nations; as we are beginning to witness with the introduction of satellite communication and personal computers, it is almost impossible for nations today to censor ideas and information.
Declaring Earth and all of its resources the common heritage of all of the world's people, also creates a united humanity as a whole, growing together and leaving nobody behind.

We think that the monetary system is like a cancer on a cat that is eating its host and it will do away with itself in time. The mere march of events of technology will eventually do away with jobs that enable people to buy the goods turned out, and new social designs will have to emerge. We feel that at that time a military dictatorship will most likely occur. We would like to introduce the concepts of a resource-based economy to the public so they will understand that there are other possible alternatives.

Only in a resourced based economy can technology be used to serve humans and the environment. Technology in a monetary system are used to bond people, take jobs away, enslave people and used to control people. In a resource based economy there is no reason, motivation, and incentive to use technology to abuse people and the planet.

Only when science and technology are used with human concern in a world in which all of the earth's resources are held as the common heritage of all of the earth's people can we truly say that there is intelligent life on earth. The technology that we present can make it possible for the global population to obtain a very high standard of living one higher than ever imagined possible.

The Venus Project. approach does not reduce the lives of people to a subsistence level; rather, it makes available all the amenities that modern science and technology can provide. Even the wealthiest people of today could not achieve a standard of living equal to that of a resource-based economy.

Remember, it is up to you doing your part in spreading the word. Martial law is the only other choice and where this is heading if we don't unite for the Resource-Based Economy.

"Once we join together and proclaim all earth’s resources as the common heritage of all people (A Resource-Based Economy), we will begin to know what it means to be civilized. Until that time we will be continuously fighting for a piece of the pie." ~The Venus Project

T.V.P. & T.Z.M. Response to The Occupy Movement

The Venus Project realizes the significance of the Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together movements and offers a positive solution for their grievances.

We at The Venus Project fear that any acquiescence to the protestor’s demands will do very little if the processes that cause the problems are left in place. In this case whatever laws or regulations are made will be eventually bypassed or overturned and conditions will revert back. This has almost always been the situation historically.

We are concerned that meeting the demands of the protestors while keeping the current economic system in place will not have the desired outcome. It will merely serve to temporarily... Continue >>>
