Ending Poverty

We have to recognize that the issue of poverty is a "Symptom" born out of an outdated social structure. The monetary system and being forced to use money as a means of survival. The money-based system was designed hundreds of years ago and was hardly appropriate for that time. We still utilize this same outmoded system, which is responsible for most of today's problems.

Poverty is NOT Technical is it Economic:

The solution is changing the source and means of what is needed to survive. Instead of money, we need to have access to all the resources we need and want without the use of money, credits, barter or any other system of debt or servitude.

Having access to all resources for free is done through a Resource Based Economy. This system is fully functional and feasible right now. This system has all the blueprint designs mapped out in every field of how a society in a Resourced Based Economy works, why it works, and addresses 25 years worth of questions about it.

If you are curious about the stats in this image. Do some research on poverty,
you will find that: nearly half the world’s population are
(2.8 billion) living on less than the equivalent of $2/day.

Living on $2 per day is starving in our eyes.
How much food could you get for $2 a day?
How long of this before your body starts eating itself?
Perhaps you will stay alive longer than someone with no money,
but you're still starving.
I know it's hard to believe that half the world lives this way
but the stats are accurate and it's growing everyday.
All that is needed is for enough people to be aware of it and want it, hence this website. Once this is supported, the first thing that will happen is all people around the world in poverty will be fed as soon as possible. If you have any concern for poverty and billions of starving people, the sharing of this critical information is the most important thing you can do to help.

It doesn't take the world to unite in order to make change happen. Science has discovered that all social changes happen due to 10% of the world's population united in a common purpose. That's 700 million. We already have 50 million people supporting this. If everyone did their part in spreading the word about the Venus Project offering a Resource-Based Economy; this would spread like a virus and poverty would be history. It is up to you doing your part.
If you do nothing, nothing will happen.

If we really wish to put an end to our ongoing international and social problems, we must declare Earth and all of its resources the common heritage of all of the world's people. An environment of scarcity, hunger, and poverty is a threat to everyone.

"Once we join together and proclaim all earth’s resources as the common heritage of all people (A Resource-Based Economy), we will begin to know what it means to be civilized. Until that time we will be continuously fighting for a piece of the pie." ~The Venus Project

T.V.P. & T.Z.M. Response to The Occupy Movement

The Venus Project realizes the significance of the Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together movements and offers a positive solution for their grievances.

We at The Venus Project fear that any acquiescence to the protestor’s demands will do very little if the processes that cause the problems are left in place. In this case whatever laws or regulations are made will be eventually bypassed or overturned and conditions will revert back. This has almost always been the situation historically.

We are concerned that meeting the demands of the protestors while keeping the current economic system in place will not have the desired outcome. It will merely serve to temporarily... Continue >>>
